Sue W. Williams 89 was born on January 1, 1931 in Natchez, Mississippi to Ivory Basie and Bernice Cage-Basie.

Sue graduated from Coleman High School in Mississippi, then went to Interior Design School in Kansas City, Missouri.

Sue loved Interior Design so much she became her own boss for over 20 years, and then later retired in 1998. She was also a member of the Eastern Star organization.

Sue married Charles Williams August 1976. They were happily married for 5 years, until his death December 1981.

She is preceded into death by her husband Charles Williams; father Ivory; mother Bernice; four sisters, Lucille, Mable, Murle and Mary; one brother Julius; two daughters Murdisann and Eulia; one grandson Dant’e, and one granddaughter Kimberly.

She is survived by 10 children, Vernell, Gail, Benjamin, Brenda, Patrick, Arnold, Loretha, Danielle, Rodney, Andy; niece Juvwana; 31 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, 17 great great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
