Terance Lamont Wilson was born on December 14, 1987 in Little Rock Arkansas at University Hospital to the parents Kevin West, Rachel and Frederick Pinkins. Terance Moved to Kansas City Missouri with his grandmother Peggy Millbrook at eight months. He was the first born son, grandson, nephew, the oldest cousin and he was also the first to marry and start a family. Terance Attended Emanuel Cleaver daycare in 1989 to 1990. He went to both Richardson and Mary Harman Weeks elementary school. He attended Westport junior high school and graduated from Ruskin high school in 2007. Terance was a very hard worker, he held his position as a social worker for children and adults with needs at Swope Health Services. Terance accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in his teenage years. He was as a member at Bread of Life East Church under the leadership of Bishop Otis L and first lady Christina Cobbins and he was baptized in the year of 2017.
Terance was very responsible, very respectful and always a leader. He was a good son, he loved his family and was very family oriented. His boy cousins William, Joe, Jr, Aaron, Martay and Maurice(preceded in death) were more like his brothers than his cousins as well as his girl cousins Darryale, Keyona and Donisha. They all grew up together along with his two brothers Trenton, Kevin Jr and one sister Keira in the same household.
Terance was an outgoing and a very laid-back person. He enjoyed many things like traveling, playing basketball and video games. He was also in tuned with history, learning and visiting museums. His favorite sports were basketball and football but he was very knowledgeable in all sports. He loved all genre of music, loved singing and rapping. He was taught how to cook and from there he was the ramen noodle king! He loved kids and was the babysitter of the family, all the kids gravitated to him from all ages. Terance had a beautiful big smile that would light up the room! He was the sweetest and most genuine person. He truly had a big heart for any and everybody he came in contact with. Terance loved and cherished his wife Laurin Wilson. They have been friends for many years before dating, having children and getting married. Terance was 11 and Laurin was just 9 years old when their paths crossed both growing up in the same church together and starting their friendship. Terance dated his wife while they attended Ruskin high school. In 2009 to 2010 their connection grew stronger for each other and they wanted to take the relationship to another level. Shortly after, Laurin became pregnant with their first child La’Riah born October 10, 2010. Two years later February of 2012 Terance proposed to Laurin while finding out they were pregnant with baby boy Tristian. They got married on May 19, 2012 and in 2013 they were pregnant with their third child when they miscarried but shortly after the Wilson’s didn’t waste no time to try again for baby number four and along came Londyn born on February 17, 2014.
Terance loved his kids and there was nothing he wouldn’t do for them. He was a devoted father present and active in their lives. Terance had his own individual relationship with each child as well as collectively. His spirit will live in their hearts and forever be reminded of him, all of the teachings and valuable lessons given to LaRiah, Tristian and Londyn will forever carry out his legacy.
Celebrating his life and cherishing his memories are wife Laurin, children La’Riah, Tristian and Londyn. His mother Rachelle Pinkins (Fred), father Kevin West Sr (Stephanie) His mother in law Lora Roach (Kelvin), his sister Keira West, brothers Trenton Wilson and Kevin West Jr., Grandparents Peggy Millbrook (Joe preceded in death) and Charles Brown (Madleyn preceded in death). Two nieces Armoni Herring Clemmons and Makihla Cheffen. Uncles Bryan Wilson, Kelvin Wilson, Alton West, Euphrates West, Jeremine Mitchell (Venisha) and Major Morton. Aunts Jacqueline Morton, Shirley West and Bertha West.
