Teresa D. Galbreath was born December 11, 1942 to John Dixon and Mary Raspberry in Fort Riley, Kansas and moved to Kansas City, MO as a young child.  Teresa graduated from Pioneer Community College and worked as a Social worker for Rose Brooks Women’s Shelter pursing her love for helping others.

Teresa had a gift of capturing your heart with her amazing voice.  Teresa loved singing, her family and her baby EZ.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and close friends.  The love she had for her family showed with every interaction.  Teresa loved the Lord and was a member of St. James Methodist Church.

Teresa is preceded in death by her parents John Dixon and Mary Raspberry, Husband Elmer Galbreath, Daughter Ronett Hargrove Cummings, Granddaughter Michelle Lynn Cummings, and Grandson Kevin Rhodes.  She leaves to cherish her memory the love of her life EZ Galbreath, daughters Carmen Gray, Kimberly Adams (Gary), sons Vincent Hargrove (Elizabeth), Scott Hargrove (Juanessa), Sister Johnetta Dixon Omoregie, a host of nieces, nephews, 10 grandchildren, 25 Great grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
