Teresa Renee Pryor

Teresa Renee Pryor, 65, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 30, 1960, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Donald Clark and Rosie (Brown) Carruthers.

Teresa was a dedicated individual who graduated from Metropolitan Tech College. Her compassionate spirit shone through her work at Children’s Choice daycare, and she also capably served as an apartment manager. Despite her own challenges, Teresa devoted her time tirelessly to the community. She was known for feeding the homeless and providing them with sleeping bags during the harsh winter months. Her commitment to helping others extended to her volunteer work at the American Cancer Society, among other organizations.

On August 3, 2003, Teresa married the love of her life, Earl Reese, and they shared two beautiful years of marriage before his passing.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earl Reese; her parents, Donald Clark and Rosie Carruthers; and her brother, Pvon Burks.

Teresa's memory will be cherished by her children: Cherice Clark, Kalina Scott, Travett Hergins, Joshua Pryor, Deshua Curry (Lindley), and Shala Pryor. She is also survived by her siblings, Anthony Burks, Rosslyn Gunn, Arvetta Campbell, and Shiron Norah. Her legacy continues through her 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
