Terri Denise Greene

Terri Denise Greene 65, passed away November 6, 2024. Terri was born the baby of nine siblings on July 19, 1959, in Kansas City, Kansas. She was born to the union of Dorothy (Grant) Greene and Cleburn Greene Sr. Terri was proceeded in death by both parents, three brothers Lee Vernon Greene, Albert Greene, and Cleburn Greene Jr., two sisters Doris Shepherd and Dietre Greene and two grandsons Dionte Greene and Martay Greene II.

Terri was educated in both Kansas City, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri school districts.

Terri had two children, Martay and Coshelle when she met Waymond Henry whom she married and two children, Cherita and Vonae, were born to their union, their marriage was later dissolved.

Terri was affectionately called “Judy” by her two younger children. She loved family time, listening to blues, cooking big meals, playing spades, dominoes, and bid whist. She enjoyed watching football and rooting for her undefeated Kansas City Chiefs.

Terri worked many years at Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant before taking on a new career of driving. If it had a steering wheel and tires, she could drive it. She drove city buses, school buses, trash trucks, dump trucks, and retired after driving 18 wheelers.

She leaves her legacy of love with her son Martay Greene Sr., daughters Coshelle Greene-Williams (Marvin), Cherita Greene and Vonae Greene, twelve grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, her sister Michelle Greene, brothers James Greene Sr., and Grant Greene, a special cousin Diane Thurston, a host of family and friends including all of her favorite nieces and too many sister-friends to name, many bonus sons and daughters, two special grand pups and Cassious Battle.
