Theo Bankston, Jr.

Theo Bankston, Jr, 65, passed away on June 25, 2017 at St Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on December 5, 1951 in Bonita, LA to Theo Bankston, Sr, and Mary Frances Sanders. He grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, and was a student in the KCMO Public School District, and graduated from Paseo High School.

Theo began working for GSA as a Mail-Handler, where he worked for 10 years, and he also worked for the VA in Eufaula, OK for 15 years. Some of his favorite hobbies were fishing and basketball. On May, 26th 1996, he married Wanda Cunningham in Eufaula, OK. They were happily married for 21 years.

He leaves to cherish is memories his wife; Wanda Bankston, his mother; Mary McFadden(David), his daughter; Tameria Bankston of Kansas City, Missouri; his brothers; James Wilson of Kansas City, Missouri, Erwin Bankston, Edwin Bankston(Lzonne), and Derrin Bankston(Lynda), his sisters; Kathy Alexander(Frank) and Karen Taylor(Sam) all of Saint Louis, Missouri, three grandchildren; Roy, Termick, and Joryden Wright of Kansas City, Missouri, one niece; Kim Wilson; one great niece; Jayden Wilson of Kansas City, Missouri, and a host of other relatives and friends.
