Thomas Joseph Gillespie

Thomas Joseph (TJ) Gillespie, an adored family man was born on September 24, 1975 and sadly, and unexpectedly left all who knew and loved him on May 29, 2017 at the age of 41.

Thomas was an amazing son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend who always found time for others when needed. He had an incredible sense of humor that was accompanied with an infectious laugh. He attended schools in the KCMO public school district. He held a variety of employment positions displaying a wide range of knowledge and skills. His belief in a higher power and his spirituality was strong and unwavering. He was embraced on his transition by his grandmother, Mrs. Mary A. Clark; grandfathers, Grover A. Gillespie Sr., and Thomas J. Clark and uncle, Alden M. Gillespie. Thomas will be forever loved and deeply missed by his mother, Mrs. Deborah L Gillespie-Taylor(Robert); brother, Mark D. Gillespie of Washington State; sister, Monica D. Gillespie Tulsa, OK.; aunt and uncle, Gloria A. Love and Nathaniel Love, and uncle, Grover A. Gillespie Jr.; his favorite aunt and uncle, Denise M. and Marshall L Freeman; an abundance of cousins, other Aunts, Uncles, relatives, and friends.
