A life well lived.
Tiffani Lynette Kintchen, departed this life peacefully on February 16, 2023, at the age of 50 from her long battle with cancer. Tiffani lived a fulfilling life as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and a friend to many.
Tiffani was a fierce advocate both for herself and those who also traveled the cancer journey. Her voice and her words lifted and inspired so many during her seven years of truly LIVING with metastatic cancer, not once but twice. We will forever be touched by her genuous spirit, her quick wit, and her raw honesty. Her smile, her laugh, it was captivating.
While we can’t begin to remember all the procedures, surgeries, and treatments that she endured and come out swinging every time. If we could put money on someone beating the odds, it was our girl.
Tiffani left a mark on this earth and enjoyed a career fulfilled by working for a cause - from child mental health, heart disease, cancer, wishes for ill children and the homeless - whose beneficiaries spirit and dedication amazed her. Tiffani believed that one person could change the life of many, and second chances could change the future for many more. She was a people person and would offer assistance to anyone in need. Tiffani is survived by her husband of 28 years: Charles “Shane” Kintchen; two children: Kiah and Sanai; as well as her beloved bonus daughters: Destiny Kintchen and LaNikki Pettigrew; three grandchildren, parents: James and Helen Casey; sister: Karla Savage; brother: Jermaine (Kathryn) Casey, and a number of loving relatives and close friends.
