Tilbert G Green Sr

Tilbert G. Green Sr. was born October 8, 1943 to Tilbert H. & Delores C. Green in Arkansas City, Kansas. His parents preceded him in death. He attended Central High School & was a part of the class of 1961.

He accepted Christ at an early age & was baptized at St. Stephen’s Baptist Church by Rev. John W. Williams. He later joined Cleveland Ave. Baptist Church & was baptized again by Pastor Price Ellis. Tilbert was a child of God & truly loved the Lord. He would always say that he looked forward to the day when the Lord would call him home. He enjoyed reading his bible & studying the God’s word.

Tilbert was a gifted painter & used that skill to help others when needed. He loved to walk & his clothes always matched from head to toe.

Tilbert married Joan R. Gunther on February 14,1964, and to this union one child was born, Tilbert G. Green Jr.

Tilbert is survived by one son, Tilbert G. Green Jr., twin daughters, LeRita Crowell of Kansas City, MO., ReNita Inmon (Kevin) of Virginia Beach, Virginia; one sister Dayle C. Green, one nephew, David C. Green, one aunt Helen Green all of KCMO; five grandchildren, Melanie & Myron Howell, Kamil Donowa, Keithan & Klayton Inmon all of Virginia Beach, Virginia; six great grandchildren, Maliyah, Meiana, Mierra & Kameron Howell, Julian Donowa & Kannon Inmon all of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Cousins Judy Diamond, David Harrison, Antoinette Harrison, Denise Sanders & Saundra Rankin. Loving & caring extended family; Ruby Staples, Sharon Staples, Pamela Staples, Georgia Jackson, Marquita Cavole 7 Vickie Johnson.
