The Life Journey of Timothy Dale Jackson

Timothy Dale Jackson, 55, was born on February 2, 1971, in Rolling Fork, Mississippi, to the late Oscar Jackson and Thelma Wigfall Jackson.

Around 1978, Timothy moved with his mother to Kansas City, Kansas, where he attended school in the Kansas City, Kansas Public School District. He graduated in 1989.

In 1991, Timothy was blessed with the birth of his son, Elbert Brice. In 1999, he married Nikita McGaugtha, and from their union, his daughter, Joi Renee Jackson, was born in 2001. He was also blessed with a stepdaughter, Jhimae Lewis.

Throughout his life, Timothy was hardworking and entrepreneurial. He held various positions, primarily working as a cable technician, and also pursued self-employment. Among his entrepreneurial accomplishments was owning and operating a successful eBay business.

Timothy had a deep passion for music. He loved creating music and making beats, spending countless hours in the studio perfecting his craft. His love for music eventually led him to create a recording studio in his own home. He also enjoyed repairing musical instruments and had a special interest in Fender guitars.

Beyond music, Timothy found great enjoyment in fishing, cooking, and playing dominoes. Whether creating music, working with his hands, preparing a meal, casting a fishing line, or enjoying a good game of dominoes, Timothy embraced the things that brought him happiness and allowed him to express his creativity.

Timothy was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Jackson and Thelma Wigfall Jackson; his aunts, Mary Coates and Brenda Wigfall; and his uncles, Thomas White, Clint Wigfall, and Alton Wigfall.

Timothy leaves to cherish his memory: his son, Elbert Brice of Shawnee, KS; daughter, Joi Renee Jackson of Grandview MO; stepdaughter, Jhimae Lewis of St. Louis, MO; brother, Donald Jackson of Kansas City, Missouri; sister, Renee Jackson of Grandview, Missouri; 4 nephews, Kenneth Gillom, Donnell Gillom, Timothy Depriest, and Mario Depriest all of Kansas City, MO; two great-nieces; uncles, Frank (Nuniece) White of Chicago, Illinois, and Willie (Voncella) Wigfall of Grandview, Missouri; aunts, Barbara Wigfall of Chicago, Illinois, and Gerri Wigfall, widow of the late Clint Wigfall; along with a host of cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Also left to cherish Timothy’s memory is his beloved canine companion, Kush, who held a special place in his heart and brought him much companionship and joy.
