Tina R Dedner

Mrs. Tina R. Dedner was born on December 9, 1964 in Kansas City, Kansas to James Hayes and Henrietta Hayes. She was educated in the public schools of Kansas City, Missouri and graduated from North East High School, class of 1983.

Tina accepted Christ at an early age. She was a faithful and dedicated member of the Rising Star Baptist Church for over twenty years. She belonged to the organization Sheba 18. Prince Hall Affiliation of the Kansas Jurisdiction.

On December 20, 1986, Tina was united in marriage to Emmanuel Dedner, Sr., and to their union two children were born. She was a wonderful, loving, caring wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She loved listening to music, sending her daily prayers, listening to her lovely daughter’s voice and hosting family gatherings. She loved her family and always reminded them, “I love you and there is nothing you can do about it.”

Tina departed this life on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Research Hospital. Her parents, James Hayes and Henrietta Hayes, one brother, Donald Givhan, and one sister, Cheryl Scott all preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of thirty-two years, Emmanuel Dedner, Sr.; one son, Emmanuel Dedner, Jr., Kansas City, MO; daughter, Eameshia Dedner, Kansas City, MO; sisters, Benita Givhan of Olathe, Kansas, Eldina Hayes of Kansas City, MO and Rameshia Spears (Steven) of Grandview, MO; brothers, Darwin Givhan (Angela), and James Hayes White of Kansas City, MO; four grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and her church family.

She will be forever missed by those of us who knew and loved her.
