Tina M White

Tina M. White, transitioned this life on December 3rd at her home in Kansas City, Kansas.  She was born on September 28, 1957 to John and E. Maxine Preuitt.

Born and raised in Kansas City, KS, Tina graduated from the Sumner High School in 1976.  After high school she attended AVTS and National College where she received a Business and Clerical Certificate.

She retired earlier in 2022 from Maximus as a customer service rep after 45 years of continuous work.

Tina was an avid KC Chiefs Fan.  You could find her watching the game with her sister Shelly and  “The Fellas” of the BC Club whenever the Chiefs were playing. She also loved spending quality time with her family and close friends, especially watching movies with her children and grandchildren.  She was affectionately known as the “Captain of the Get Lit” crew; she was always ready to have a good time!!!

On May 18, 1989, she married her high school sweetheart, Albert White,. From this union, their two daughters were born; Tianna and Camille White.  They later divorced but remained good friends.

She was preceded into death by her parents, John & E. Maxine Preuitt, sister Phyllis Brown, and niece Natasha Hays.

She is survived by her children, Tianna White and Camille White, a bonus daughter, Charrece Elzy; six grandchildren, Cle’ianna Garrett, Brajae’ Crosby, Cahmai Crosby, Calil White, Chaz White, and Zyhir Toliver; siblings Richard Preuitt (Sheryl Preuitt), Florence Hays, Johanna Price (Ira Price), and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
