Tommie L. Jones, Sr.

Tommie Lee Jones, a beloved member of our community, passed away on January 13, 2024, at the age of 66. He departed this world at his home, in Kansas City, MO, surrounded by the love of his family.

Tommie was born on January 19, 1957, in Blytheville, Arkansas, to proud parents Robert Lee Jones and Jonnie Mae Jones.

Tommie spent his formative years in Blytheville, AK, and graduated from Southeast High School in Kansas City, MO. He dedicated many years of his life to hard work, serving as an assembly line worker at the Ford Motor Company, where he made lasting contributions.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Jonnie Mae Jones; as well as his sisters, Carolyn Faceson, and Charlotte Jones; and his brother, John Faceson.

Tommie is survived by his children, Tommie Lee Jones Jr (Robin) and Danielle Willison, both in Michigan; cherished grandchildren, Tomorrow Jones, Savonne Jones, and Adin Tate.

Additionally, Tommie is remembered by his three stepchildren, Coleatha Bouldin, Leon Bouldin (Kenyatta), and Sandra Bouldin, all residing in Michigan.

Tommie's memory will be lovingly preserved by his three sisters: Gloria Glenn (Albert), Lois Wiley of Kansas City, and Lee Ann Jones of Michigan. His legacy also lives on through his brother, Robert Lee Jones Jr III (Seniora), in Texas.

Tommie Lee Jones touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on his family, friends, and community. His warm spirit, dedication, and love will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
