Troy Leon Williams

Troy Leon Williams, 52, passed away on January 18, 2019 in his home in Houston, Texas. He was born August 9, 1966 at KU Medical Center to Henry W. Williams and Joanne Williams-Freeman. His father; step-father Pastor Elzie E. Freeman, Jr.; paternal grandparents Henry Williams, Sr. & Beatrice Williams; maternal grandfather Thomas Andrews, Jr.; and uncles Michael Williams, Timothy Williams, Robert Williams, and Keith Williams preceded him in death. Troy graduated from Van Horn high school in 1984. He retired after 31 years with Burns & McDonnell in May 2018, as a Senior Electrical Designer. Troy was known for his caring actions and helping others. He was a true friend with a heart of gold to everyone he met. He has often been described as a “mentor“. He was also known by many as a “brother”. He will be greatly missed.
