Tyrone A. Bates Sr.

Tyrone A. Bates Sr., 54, passed away on July 24, 2025, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on June 21, 1971, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Delouise Sims.

He grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, and graduated from Shawnee Mission High School in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, and was employed with USG as an engineer for 3 years.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Delouise Sims, and brother, William Bates.

Tyrone is survived by his daughter, Tiauna Bates; granddaughters: Winter Ann Bates-Brough and Audrey Bates; and a host of other relatives and friends.
