Varluria E. Bailey

Varluria Bailey, 70, passed away on August 30, 2026, at University Health Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born on August 16, 1956, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Luther Bailey and fluorine Wilson.

She grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas. She graduated from Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. She began working at Hazel Café as a chef where she worked for 11 years.

She is preceded in death by her father, Luther Bailey; her mother, Florine Bailey; her brothers, Larry Matthews, and Doyl Williams; her sisters, Shirley Sawyer, and Neele Osafo; and her great- grandson Jahzere Bowden.

She is survived by her daughter, Tamara Jackson; her sons, Terrill Jackson, Bruce Charles Jr; her grandsons, Dashawn Stubbs, Eric Stubbs, Javonte Bowden, Anthony Davis Jr, and Brashaun Charles; granddaughter Seniya Winstead, 14 great-grandchildren; her sister: Lavetrice Maha, and host of other relatives and friends.
