Vera Hall

Vera Mae Hall “Essie Mae” was born on February 22, 1947 in Augusta, Arkansas to the union of Searcy L. Hamm and Jessie Green.

She was educated at Carver High School in Augusta, Arkansas.

Vera married James Hall and moved to Kansas City, MO in 1965. She lived her life as a homemaker. She was a fun-loving person who was always surrounded by her family. She was the type of person who you can go to no matter who you were. To know her is to love her.

She left her earthly life on August 21, 2017 in the comfort of her own home. Vera was preceded in death by both parents Searcy Hamm and Jessie Green, one son Mikel Hall, and one sister Carolyn Green, and three brothers Manuel Green, Jessie green and Leroi Green.

Vera leaves to cherish her loving memories, four sons, Manuel Hall of Kansas City, MO; Randy Hall of Kansas City, MO; Anthony Hall of Kansas City, MO; and Eric Hall of Kansas City, MO; one special daughter Totia Wedlow of Kansas City, MO; one daughter in – law Chrystal Fields – Hall of Bentonville, AR; seven sisters Louvina Spears of Kansas City, MO; Rose Hall of Kansas City, MO; Flora Green of Kansas City, MO; Shirley Harris of Rochester, New York; Gwendolyn Gardner of Rochester, New York; Dorothy Briscoe of Euclid, OH; Martha Dobbins of Akron, OH; two granddaughters Erica Hall of Centerton, AR; and LaKisha Hall of Kansas City, MO’ five grandsons Randy Hall Jr. of Hampton, VA; Christopher Mitchell of Bentonville, AR; Manuel Hall Jr. of Kansas City, MO; Eric Hall Jr. of Kansas City, MO; and Marquan Phillips of Kansas City, MO; nine great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
