Veronica Germaine Yancey

Veronica Germaine Yancey, 59, was born on June 19th, 1960 in Kansas City, MO to Bryan Logan & Bonnie E. Yancey. Both parents preceded her in death. Veronica was educated in the KCMO school district and graduated from Central High School in 1978. After graduation “Ronni”

Attended University of Missouri where she majored in Journalism & Communications. She then went on to attend Interior design school, where she received her associate’s degree.

She accepted Christ at an early age at Greater Corinthian Church under Pastor Emeritus Raymond Davis Jr. She was a Member of YPCA & Runners for Christ. Ronni sang in the Youth and adult choir. At the time of her passing she attended Pillars of Truth under the leadership of Pastor Dale Beasley.

Ronni worked at KU Medical Center in the Marketing department. Ronni loved the Lord and was a prayer advocate for all who was in need of prayer or encouragement in any situation. She married Jason Byrd (9/17/94) in Kansas City, MO, and to this union two twin girls were born. Ronni is survived by her two daughters, Savier Knox and Sierra Yancey, three grandchildren, Madyson and Gavyn Knox, and Jase Hicks, one brother Anthony Logan (Sherrie), Three sisters Michelle Davis, Amber Martin (Gary)and

Marshawn Logan, two aunts Kathryn Carter and Doris Yancey, her cousin brother Michael Carter (Lynette), and her Honorary daughter Kanetra Graham (DavidII), special Cousins Tim, Tiff, Steph (Anthony), Jody, bestfriend Angela Jones, godchildren Kina Gunnels and Jyen Battle and a host of

neices, newphews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
