Victor Lee Austin

Victor Lee Austin, 39, affectionately known as “Pablo Piffy,” passed away on August 23, 2025, in Kansas City, Missouri.

He was born on January 4, 1986, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Jerry Lee Wilkerson and Vicki E. Austin, and that is also where he grew up.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: George C. Austin, Clemmie Austin Patterson, and Mamie Wilkerson; his “bonus” grandparents: Blanche Sims and Johnnie Warfield; and two uncles: Leonard V. Austin and Leonard Holloway.

Victor was educated for a short time at Southeast High School in Kansas City, Missouri, before he moved on to finish his education at the Excelsior Springs Satellite Office of Job Corps. He earned his high school diploma with a trade in nursing, and later received a CNA license. He also worked for Spectrum Paint as a delivery driver.

Victor was a happy and fun-loving person with a Kool-Aid smile. He enjoyed being with his cousins hanging out at the Boom Boom Room. He loved watching the football game but was not a Chiefs fan. Victor’s team was the Colts; win or lose, it didn’t matter to him.

Victor truly loved his children as well as his entire family, but he was the hardest on the girls when it came to boys; he truly looked out for them.

Victor had an unwavering resilience and strength when facing life’s challenges, regardless of what he was going through. He would always show up for anyone whenever needed.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Vicki Austin-Warfield (LaMonte); his father, Jerry Wilkerson (Debra); his beautiful children: Desmond L. Austin, Heavenlee Austin, Aubrey Austin, Montae Austin, Monica Austin, and Kehlani Willoughby; his siblings: Robert Crowe (Kesha), Larence Garrison IV, Niresha Garrison, Jerrin Wilkerson, and Jamaran Durham; his aunts and uncles: Tammy Hall, Janet Collins, Joyce Kinsey Roger (Dale), Eugene “Prez” Jackson (Tye), Larry Wiggins, George Austin (Marsh), Quinton Austin (Renee), and Richard Warfield (Tamika); and a multitude of other family and friends who will all cherish his memories.
