Vincent Vernard Taylor Jr., affectionately known as, “Vince”, was born December 19,1986 in Kansas City, Kansas to Vincent Vernard Taylor Sr. and Melisa Annette Boyd.

Vince grew up in Kansas City, Kansas. He graduated from Wyandotte High School. After high school, he attended Vatterott College where he obtained an associate degree in HAVAC. He worked for serval different companies as a maintenance technician, until he found his home at Martinrea Riverside LLC, in the FMG Department.

Vince loved to dance and watch football. He also loved to be with his family and friends.

Vince married Maxine LaKeta (Flag) Taylor on August 12, 2017, in Kansas City, Missouri. They have been happily married for 8 years.

He departed this life on October 21, 2025. He was proceeded in death by his grandparents: Herman Boyd Sr., Lena Taylor, and Roy Taylor.

Left to cherish Vince’s memory: his wife, Maxine Taylor; sons: JaeShawn, Jayme, Jermaine, Ivon and Michael; daughters: Dymond, De’Mya, Te’Ira, Ariel, Ayonni and Armoni; his father, Vincent Taylor Sr. (April); his mother, Melisa Boyd; grandmother, Dora Boyd; mother-in-law, Timeko Kimber (Earl); brothers: Anthony, Mychal, Drake, Bruce (Chelsea), Jihad and Delano: sisters: Janisha (Damien), Vanessa, Jasmine (Will), Aaliyah, Jazzairel, Brittany and Dominique; uncles: Herman Jr.(Sherri), James, Royal Jr., Johnny Ray and Thomas; aunts: Carmen, Cheryl (Kevin), Lesley (Bryan), Tamika (Yusef), Stella (Tank) and Marilyn Taylor; Nieces & Nephews: Kingston, JaeVon, Damonie, Adino, Princess, Cornel, Chris, Courtney, Kandice, Jace, Willow and Amir; and a host of cousins, and other loving family and friends.
