Vincentta Broadus

Vincentta “Vinnie “L. Broadus was born on December 16th, 1976, to Sheralyn Laverta (Brown) Broadus and Eugene Broadus in Kansas City Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sherlyn and Eugene, and her sister Veda Janett Smith. Vincentta professed her faith in God at an early age. Although she had no church home at her passing, she knew from whence her strength came.

She attended Ruskin High school, where she graduated in 1995. Vinnie was a healthcare call center representative at DST Systems SS&C Technology. Per her managers, she was an All-Star customer service representative and always put 100% into everything she did. Everyone who knew Vinnie at DST said she was always sweet, kind, patient, and always willing to help anyone.

Vinnie loved the holidays and spending time with her children and family. Hanging out with all her cousins for birthdays or just girls’ night out.

Vinnie's last selfless act of kindness was to be an organ donor; from the organs that were donated, she helped people with cancer, burns, and heart conditions. She knew this act of kindness for patients and families awaiting transplants, organs, and tissue could mean the difference between life and death. One donor can donate and save up to eight lives by donating.

Vincentta leaves to mourn her loving sons, Reyce Jaire Bradley Reynolds and Kylan Chane Silvers, and her precious daughter Cheyann Sherlyah Angel Reynolds, who was by her side at passing. Also left to mourn Aunt Irene C. Kendrick, Uncle William Kendrick, who raised her after her mother’s death, Uncle JeVone Smith, nephew Paris Smith, niece Micah Smith, great niece Veda Janell Smith and her best cousins/sisters Carealetta R. Greene (Damon) and Lamora E. Tyree (Terrance), Andrea Kendrick, Steven Kendrick and her special mother Jean Jones, the fathers of her children Brandley Reynolds and Travis Silvers and a host of family and friends.
