Warren Anthony Martin, 54, was born on April 3, 1963 to the union of Wallace Martin and Mae Ella Pouncy in Shreveport, Louisiana. Both parents preceded him in death. His wife, Leslie Charles Martin also precedes him in eternity.
Warren was educated in the Kansas City Public School District, where he graduated from Westport High School in 1981. Warren worked for “Wallace & Martin Window Cleaning Service” for a number of years until he retired due to a battle with a life long illness. After retiring, Warren pursued a career in taping musical cassettes, but was known best for being a sports connoisseur. He would tape both of the new and old sports games to reflect on at later times.
Warren leaves to cherish his memory four brothers; Wallace Martin, Jr (KCMO), Walter Martin (KCMO), Wilbert Martin (KCMO) and Willie Lee Martin (KCMO), two sisters; Alice Martin and Mary Stephens both of Shreveport, Louisiana, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many family and friends. He also leaves to cherish his memories his loving companion; Carmen Fulson (Ms. Pooh).
