Wilbert Handson

Wilbert “Lump” Handson, 63, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on November 4, 1953 in Kansas City, Missouri to Wilbert Martin, and Dora Handson-Martin.

Lump grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated from Manual High School. He was a Self-Employed Painter for 15 years, and retired in 2015. Lump loved to roller skate, two-step, watched all sports, and to “Showboat”. He was married to Sheryl Davis. He is preceed in death by his father; Wilbert Martin.

He is survived by his mother; Dora Handson-Martin, wife; Sheryl Davis, three sons; Wilbert Hudspeth-Handson, Raeshaun Malone Sr, and Dante’ Handson, three daughters; Lachawn Davis-Sydnor (Prentise), Lejeannah Hurt, and Aleisha Taylor, one sister; Patricia Tindall, one brother; Alfred Lacy (Jamesetta)one uncle; Samuel Handson, nephew; Antonio Handson, niece; Shanta’ Handson, grandchildren; Frank, JaRon, Clarence, Marquita, Richard, Jamon, Jordon, Amya, Raeshaun Jr, Daeshaun, Tony, Kendall, Justen, Angelo, and Anthony, His four legged kids; Mac and SpiceGirl Handson; a very special cousin; Serena Martin, and a host of other relatives and friends.
