Deacon Wilfer “Cube” Wallace , 68 passed from time to eternity on August 22, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital, in Kansas City MO. He was born August 5, 1950 in Holly Grove, AR to Rothchild Wallace Sr. and Mattie Lean King. He graduated from Holly Grove High School in 1968. After graduation, he attended the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree.

After college, Wilfer later moved to Kansas City, MO where he became an educator for Kansas City and Hickman Mills School Districts teaching visual arts and served for 38 years. He retired in 2015 and dedicated more time to helping families achieve the American dream through Primerica Financial Services as a District Leader. After retirement, he worked with O’Reiley Auto Parts in Leawood, KS for the last two years. He was a member of AM&N/UAPB Greater Kansas City Alumni Association. In 2008 he wrote a book entitled, “Pause for Insight”.

Wilfer was a born-again believer who accepted Christ at an early age at First Baptist Church in in Holly Grove, AR and later joined Second Missionary Baptist Church in Grandview, MO where he served as a Deacon.

On June 20, 1987 he married the Love of his life, Zella Carson. They were happily married for 31 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rothchild and Mattie L. Wallace, Sr.; his son, Kevin Carson; and one brother, Rothchild Wallace, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Zella Wallace; his three sons, Michael and Ramon of Kansas City, MO and Antoine of North Hollywood, CA; his siblings, Nedra Mitchum of Kansas City, MO, Theola Holmes (Henry) of North Little Rock, AR, Doris Wallace Benson (Lincoln) of Valencia, CA, Amy Jean Hinson of Kansas City, MO, Mae Christine Wallace of Baltimore, MD, Rev. Christopher Wallace of Kansas City, MO, Cecelia Simmons of El Paso, TX, Nadine Vogal (John) and Al Wallace of Raytown, MO; six grandchildren, Kevin, Taevyon, Makylah, Jabria, Malachi, and Frederick and a host of other relatives and friends.
