William C. Hall, Jr. of Kansas City, Missouri, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, at the age of 76, on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. He was born July 11, 1947 to Mr. William C. Hall, Sr. and Mrs. Vetrol Hall, in Liberty, Missouri. Both of his parents and one sister, Janice Isaac, preceded him in death.

William received his education in Kansas City, Missouri, graduating from Central High School, class of 1965. Soon after graduation, he was drafted into the United States Army and served three years. William was first stationed at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri. He served a tour of duty in Vietnam as a cook and received a Purple Heart before completing his service with an honorable discharge in 1969.

After returning from military service, William began his employment with the City of Kansas City, Missouri in the Public Works Department; remaining with the City for 16 years. He later worked for Laidlaw Transit in Kansas City, Kansas and Sunset Tours; retiring in 2009.

William was united in marriage to Patricia L. Moore on November 16, 1985; they remained married for 38 years until his death. While there were no children born to this union, William, affectionately known as “Uncle”, was a father figure to his nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.

William accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized Skylight Missionary Baptist Church, in Kansas City, Missouri. He joined Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Robert B. Poe, in 1968 and remained a faithful member for over 50 years, until his health failed. While at Canaan, William sang in choir, the Male Chorus and served as a Gate Keeper.

William C. Hall, Jr., man of God, husband, brother, uncle and friend leaves precious memories to be cherished by his wife, Patricia L. Hall; sister, Patricia A. Hall of Kansas City, Missouri; one aunt, Dorothy Marie Jones of Independence, Missouri; along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
