William T. Warren Sr., was born October 30th, 1931 in Booneville, Mississippi to the parents of Gilly Warren and Emma Jumpers. He was proceeded in death by one sister Mildred Rige and one granddaughter Whitney Warren. William moved to Kansas City, Missouri at 7 years old and attended Lincoln College Preparatory Academy High School. He enlisted into the Armed Forces of the United States at age 23. January 28th, 1952 he was in the area of command 9th Marine Corps Reserve. He was awarded National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal and, also was a mail clerk while enlisted. In 1954 he ended his career with the United States Army. October 27, 1967 he was awarded his license to preach as a ordained minister, and shortly after opened his on Church “Morning Star Pentecostal” as 08/28/1977. He retired from Kansas City Power and Light. He also attended college and received a degree in Computer programs. William loved to spend time with family, watching movies and enjoying a case of Coca-Cola to himself. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Lucille Warren; two sons, William T. Warren Jr. and Phillip W. Warren, Sr. (Bridgett); two daughters, Marilyn Sanders and Myrna Fuqua (Rickey); 8 grandchildren, Reggie Harlom (Shannon), Chez Harlom, Rickey Fuqua (Leah), Rikita Fugua, D’Smain Warren, Clinton Long, Phillip Warren Jr. and Sasha Block; 8 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
