William R. Watson

William R. Watson, 17, passed away on July 25, 2025, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

He was born to Sierra N. Rodgers on November 30, 2007, in Blue Springs, Missouri, and grew up in Kansas City, Missouri.

William was currently attending Braswell High School in Aubrey, Texas, and was planning for graduation as part of the Class of 2026.

He recently began working at Walmart as an order pick-up associate, where he worked for a year.

Preceding William in death is his aunt, Talina Sheppard; great-grandmother, Mary Sheppard; grandfather, Dell Rodgers; cousins, Keith and Terence Rodgers; bonus grandmother, Wilnor Sheppard; and his great-great-aunt Lucy.

He is survived by his mother, Sierra Rodgers; brother, Brayzon Neal; sister, SeNijah Rodgers; grandmother, Trina Sheppard; aunt, Shakina Sheppard; girlfriend, Makia Brown; cousins, Kalyanna Cooper, Nyaomi Cooper, Audisty Banks, Nasani Britton, and Keena Ealy; his favorite cousin, Rickey Fuller; his best friend, Jeremy Fitzgerald, and a host of other relatives and friends.
