Willie Charles Montgomery Jr., also known as “Sane”, 44, passed away on February 23, 2026, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on November 30, 1981, in Kansas City, Missouri to Willie Charles Montgomery Sr. and Lynn Kay Webb-Jordan. He attended Southwest High School and graduated from Job Corps.
Sane worked for The City of Kansas City as a public maintenance worker. He enjoyed fishing, tattooing, and spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by his parents, Lynn Kay Webb-Jordan (mother), Willie Charles Montgomery Sr. (father), Phillip Jordan (step-dad); his children, Dashaun Charles Burns, Christopher; his siblings: Nicole Hardy (Joseph Sr.), Alonzo Webb (Kayla), Brenda Williams Newsome (John), Charla Dowdell (David), Charlotte Jamerson, Charles Carter Montgomery, and DeeAna Danyale Donovin Denver.
