Willie D. Reed

Willie Reed was born October 3, 1945, to the parents of John Henry and Anna Carmichael- Reed in a small town of Warrensburg, Missouri, he was the 8th of 9 children.

On June 10, 2022, God called Willie Reed home he was preceded in death by both parents, his sisters, Vera Reed, Nadine Reed, Lucy Johnson, Janette Reed, and a brother Roosevelt Reed also by the love of his life Emma Johnson.

Willie attended the Warrensburg Public School System; Willie was employed by Deffenbaugh Waste Management where he later retired. Willie loved his son and grandchildren; he was able to meet his great grandchildren shortly before his passing he was also a bonus dad to Emma’s children, Christine Johnson, Walter Johnson Sr, Lula Mae Johnson(deceased), Dale Johnson(deceased), Jerry Johnson, Brenda Johnson, and Cozetta, all from Kansas City.

Willie leaves to cherish his memories two sisters, Baby Lou Collins and Mary Rose Coppage of Warrensburg, MO one brother, John Henry of Sacramento, California, one son Willie Johnson(Lakeisha Matiella), three grandchildren; Diamond Sanford(Rutherford), Darrion Johnson, and Dylan Johnson, 4 great grandchildren, and was a Pa Pa to several others, host of nieces, nephews and close friends that cherished him.
