Willis Roderick Authorlee I was born April 28th, 1969, in Kansas City, Missouri to Willis Authorlee and Sharon J. Authorlee. He became a big brother at the age of three and from then on, he was a protector. Willis had lots of interest as a child such as, cub scouts, football, band, baseball, and track.
Willis served in the United States Navy as he was a Navy Corpsman with the Marines from 1987 to 1992. Willis met his Wife Monique at the age of fifteen where they were married July 18, 1992. He remained a loving and devoted husband until his passing. Willis was a firm and loving father of six wonderful children.
Willis’s greatest hobbies was watching football games, in particular Oklahoma University and coaching Football and Track and watching his son’s wrestle. He lit up in joy coaching his young men in football with his best friend Damon Paul side by side from Pop Warner Football all the way to High School football at University Academy High School where he also coached Track and Field. He also coached summer track and field for Palestine Prowlers.
To our beloved Willis R. Authorlee, God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be, so the Lord put his arms around you, and whispered, “Come to Me”. With tearful eyes we watched you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He ONLY takes the best. To our solider on earth so will you be in Heaven. We loved you in Life on earth as it’ll remain until we reunite.
