Willye B Horton

Willye Beatrice Horton, 91, passed away on December 11, 2018 at home on 4421 Flora Ave, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born on November 26, 1927 in Columbia County, Georgia to Willie Lawson Benning and Clarice Williams Benning. She grew up in Augusta Georgia. She graduated from Haines Normal Institute in Augusta Georgia. After graduation she moved to Kansas City, Missouri where she became a registered nurse. She worked as a nurse and post office for numerous years. Willye was involved in church, cooking, gardening, reading and she loved sewing.

He was preceded into death by her mother; Clarice “Sister” Williams Benning, father; Willie Lawson Benning, husband; Calvin “Jack” Horton, grandson; ReSean Cheadle.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories daughter; Jacuqulen Schereece Cheadle, son; Robert Coates, grandchildren; Natasha Cheadle, Joe Cheadle, III., Matthew Cheadle, Malinda Cheadle, Mark Cheadle, great grandchildren, Indigo, Teron, Skye, Danellie, Monjue, Martez, Markquez, Makayla, Sammantha, Rose, Noah, Mark Jr., great great granddaughter; La’Naya-Monea, and a host of other relatives and friends.
